The 1941–42 New York Rangers season was the 16th season for the team in the National Hockey League (NHL). In the regular season, New York led the NHL in points with 60, and compiled a 29–17–2 record. The Rangers lost in the NHL semi-finals to the Toronto Maple Leafs, four games to two.[1]
